I really liked the emotional tone to this; you gave Merlin such happiness and hope, even in the second piece. That is refreshing and was much needed. I really liked his narration as well; you captured his personality, I think
I completely understand getting Merlin-emotions randomly over music. Driving home from a party over Christmas a Mumford and Sons song came on the radio and I was a mess. :P And this inspired such a lovely fic, so you are one ahead.
