"The Wildcats totally know about us," he said as soon as the others were out of earshot.

Hee! You think? :) It had completely slipped my mind--or possibly I never noticed in the first place?--that Ryan hadn't told Chad about that.

Oops

Yeah, "Oops" indeed. I understand why he wanted to give Chad some more time to recover before telling him, but Ryan probably should've remembered to mention that before he actually saw the others again.

"And just when were you planning to tell me about this?"

Yes, exactly. *taps foot and looks expectantly at Ryan*

It uses an ink cartridge.

*gasp* Ryan uses cartridges? Blasphemy! What's the point of a nice pen if you're using cartridges? (I had considered getting an Ipsilon next for myself, btw, back when I had a job. Chad's got good taste. :))

Aww, Chad's going to make him a pen case.

"Ryan's mom loves this shirt,"

Well, of course she does--how could she object to anyone's bragging about Ryan? :)

"Actually, the Danforths have graciously offered to let Ryan stay with them." Ryan and Chad ( ... )

Wow! It always amazes me how fast someone else can read my stories. It takes me forever. Thank you for the edit. I thought I'd caught everything.

You're absolutely right about the case; Chad's going to make his honey a special gift. Believe it or not, I hadn't thought about Ryan spending the summer with the Danforths. I originally toyed with the idea of having Ryan get an apartment near the campus for the summer but decided against it.

I love the Coming to Terms series but I think it's going to be even more fun writing post-high school stories. Thank you for being such a loyal fan and I'm glad you enjoyed this!

Before I read this, I need to say that this feels like the end of an era.
This has been my favorite series in fandom, ever (not that I've been in fandom long, or heavily, but still).
And, just wow. Thank you so much for writing these!

Aww, I didn't mean to sadden anyone. I'm just moving onto post-high school fic. I'm very flattered by your praise and I'm so glad you've enjoyed the stories. I love writing them for you.

This entire piece was bittersweet for me, knowing it was the end of the series.

I saw the header and before I clicked on the cut, I had butterflies in my stomach and I was already starting to sniffle. It's heartbreaking that this is the end.

I sincerely hope you continue to write this pairing, because your voice is a touching and unique addition to this fandom.

I enjoyed this, as I enjoy all your work, and as always I thank you for all the work you put into making each piece shine. ♥

Edited to fix a small spelling error. ;)

Oh, there'll be more of these boys; they just won't be in high school anymore. I look forward to moving them out of their rather constricted world.

I'm so pleased that you've enjoyed the stories. I am very proud of this series. Hope you plan on coming back to read the new one.

I'm really sorry to see this series end. It was one of the first non one shot I read and is in part responsible for making me truly fall in love with this pairing. You've done a wonderful job of showing the process of the relationship building as well as putting it in context of all the other relationships in their lives.

Thank you for the hours of enjoyment you've given me.

Thank you!

I'm so glad you've enjoyed this series. I'm looking forward to the next phase of their lives. And I couldn't write such compelling stories our boys without wonderful readers like you to inspire me.

When you said that at the end of Fallout I was ready to freak because someone always manages to reach into my head and anticipate something I've got in the works. So the minute I started to write this part I thought about your comment about the last day of school.

Continuity is a big deal for me (I should get a job in television) so I like to connect threads throughout a series. The Upshaws, Browning, Brent Master, the tee shirt, and the pen, all appeared in previous episodes of the series.

Thank you for being such a loyal reader. I thrive on your enthusiasm!
