Title: Q and A Author: Jalabert Rating: Everyone Summary: Chad and his father have a discussion. This is a sequel to The Talk. (Part of the Falling for You series).
Don't worry; there's more to the series. After all, Chad's dad had a few good ideas his son wants to follow up on.
Or were you talking about the length of the story, because outside of the porn battle entries, this has got to be the shortest thing I've written in ages. I think I've written longer author's notes...
PS: Love the Dean Winchester icon. I must watch that show sometime...
That was a lovely piece of family interaction. I hope that Chad decides to tell his mother soon. She sounds very supportive and it would give him a place where he could be completely himself and not have to worry about what he might say or do. Plus if he starts dating Ryan then he won't have to worry about her finding out some other way and being hurt by the lack of trust.
I'm not sure where this series will go yet. I see this pair as being a lot "younger" than my Coming to Terms Chad and Ryan, even though the stories start at the same point--the summer after Lava Springs. Therefore, I think it might take a while before Chad gets around to confiding in his mother. But for Chad, the big trust issues will be with himself rather than his mom.
Short but sweet snapshot into the Danforth's homelife. Chad's father made me feel all loved (wtf self, since when were you Chad?) There will be more, right?
I know I've said this a lot, but I love these stories and this family you've created for Chad. I get all excited every time I see a new post. The ending in this one especially got to me. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I'm delighted to know that people have become invested in the Danforths and the series. I'm enjoying this new one because the boys are so different from the ones in Coming to Terms. More is on the way.

Actually, I'm surprised Chad didn't cry. But then he'd have a lot of 'splainin' to do to his mom.
Thanks for the comment!

And if you want to be Chad in the privacy of your own home, who's going to prevent it? ;)
