Have I declared my undying love for you recently? Because I'm feeling the need. ;)

I adore how you write Chad's family and I really loved that you added his mom's perspective. And GOSH you captured the scary and awkward and excitedly proud moment well.

She smelt like his mom, warm and soft and comforting. She felt like love. Ryan felt a lot like love, too, but Chad didn't stop to think about that just then.
This was gorgeous. And it makes me all melty.

Awww... The feeling is mutual.

This plot first played out in my head (yes, whole stories do float around in my head all the time--don't judge me) as I was writing Who Knows and Suspicions but it really didn't seem to fit into either story. I forgot about it until last night, for some reason, when it resurfaced and I wrote it down.

I wish I could tell you why I have such an affinity for Chad's parents, but I have a ball writing that family. They feel like old friends and I think they just rock.
