I love everything about this ! Mark is just so realistic...loving but clueless and not keyed in to how to really communicate with Blaine. Maria is awesome. Cooper is hilarious and I hope canon is inline with this version of him. I love Blaine and this fic loves Blaine in a very human way. I could really see this family. Thank you for writing this! So lovely!

Loved it! Loved it so, so, so much. I kinda just want to sink into this story and never leave but I'll probably just go and reread it again because it was that good. Your portrayal of Blaine's dad is the first one that I can fully see being true and real and I loved that about this story.

Ahaha, perfect ending.

So, usually I'm a little wary of things around the Blaine has a TBI or Blaine has permanent damage from the Sadie Hawkins dance trope, because it tends to fall into sensationalism, and really, it's more than bad enough without. But I think you handled it fairly well, with respect, and not just as ~~added Blangsty flavor~~. So good job on that.

I'm a sucker for sympathetic-but-not-apologetic portrayals of characters like Blaine's father, who do a lot of damage, but are, after all, people, with their own needs and hopes and fears. For that alone, I'd really really like this. Well done.

I loved this - especially the way you portrayed Blaine's father. I think that what he feels is the problem of many a parent whose child is gay. It's not that they stop loving their child because he/she is homosexual, but that his/her being gay is hard to accept *because* they love him/her and will make their life even more difficult than it already is (and more dangerous because the world is shitty like that). He's completely out of his depth and doesn't even know how to *try* to come to terms with it, but that's not because he's an intolerant bigot - and that's something that isn't addressed enough in fics I find (and in the series themselves actually). So it's great you did. Thanks for sharing ^^
