That video was absolutely fascinating, and while I might not agree 100%, it certainly puts to point the flaws we're living with.
In a previous job I was an admin for a ed prof at a university, who had several grant projects dealing with teaching science in a 3-6 classroom. Watching some of the teachers showed me how there's such diversity in where they're engaged, and how many of them exist in a state of burn-out (which, if I'm being generous, I'd attribute to Mr. Schue). But it also shows how, in my mind, government oversight of education has strangled it to the point where Ritalin makes sense, since they're merely regurgitating stale information.
And if I can be quite honest, this makes me really want to home-school any kids I might have.
You know I actually buy Schue teaching Spanish cause it was the only spot available.
There's alot about Schue I don't buy, or I guess more accurately don't like. But him getting the teaching Job cause it's open? Yeah, I went to that high school too.

That video was pretty interesting, for real though. Our education system is fucked up.
