Hmm. I consulted my stack of medieval romance novels for you. "Swiving" and/or "rutting" seem to be popular. Also "tupping".

Although, my travels in Dictionary.com says the origins of "fuck" begin in the time period of 1495-1505. Wikipedia says 1503, maybe. ??? IDK, though. It does sound like a modern word.

also I totally used "fuck" all over my quasi-medieval fantasy smut and nobody blinked an eye.

"Fuck" actually comes from Proto-Germanic, or so my Lexicology professor told me. So yes. It has been around for a while.

Also you could technically argue translation convention: if you're writing in a medieval setting, nobody is actually speaking standard English, no matter how "old fashioned" you structure their dialogue and no matter how many thous and thees you misuse & abuse. Every natural language has taboo words, and fuck could merely be your modern "translation" of the highest tier taboo word of the specific dialect/language/language form your characters speak in their medieval setting.

I've read a few Medieval(ish) fantasy novels that use the word "fuck" in that context... Song of Ice and Fire series for example.
