Ok, for those of you smart people who know them interwebs better than I do, how do I embed a blog into my own domain?

Depends on where/how you have your domain currently hosted, but I found it to be as simple as downloading a blog engine, unzipping it, and then uploading it to the server. Once it's up, you do all the personalization from withing the blog itself (like livejournal, except you're the admin, so you have access to everything). Mine is hosted on a windows server and I'm using a modified version of BlogEngine.net (open source available on Codeplex). If you have a linux host then there's a few other engines available that I'm sure someone will suggest. If no one else does, I can do some research for you, but... it's a blog. It holds text. Not a complicated piece of software to write.

It's a new domain that's hosted through godaddy.com, but I'm just having it refer to a subdomain of Spazzstick.com (because that way I don't have to pay for a separate hosting because I'm cheap). The domain is rejectedcomedy.com (there's just a placeholder there right now).

I want to start a blog with articles there but I don't want to have to write a whole web page each time I add something. A blog would be perfect. But I'm a bit confused.

In don't know, but I DO know I'll be shipping your package Friday or thereabouts.

It's been hectic here.

Blogger.com has that ability built into its preferences menu somewhere. You just put in the URL of wherever you want the blog to show up and it somehow works out all the technical stuff.
