Hey Lindz. Sorry again to hear about Merrill. I do hope that you and your dad and the rest of the family are trying to take the news as best as you guys can. Sorry that I wasn't exactly sympathetic earlier on the phone, but still!!! >.<
Merrill was a very nice person, at least that was the vibe I got from her the only 2 times that I met her. And I know that you probably feel bad that the last time you saw her was at Xmas. It's probably best to remember her from that last Christmas. She may not wanted you to see her suffering like she was.
Just remember to at least have a good cry and to be there to support your dad when he needs it.
Having lost my own mother to cancer, I know something of what she must be feeling. My deepest sympathy to her and to you as you both deal with a profound loss.
