I just watched S8E2.

And now I'm afraid Brienne will die in the next episode, jumping in front of the cross bow arrow that Bronn sets of to kill Jaime for the gold Cersei promised him.

I'm actually feeling fairly optimistic right now. In terms of filming, Gwen was spotted on set for the majority of the run which would seem to suggest that her character doesn't die at the halfway point ( ... )

It occurred to me that Gwen would be on set too when she would fight on the side of Knight King.

Ooh!
That is good news, I didn't know that.
I agree that there's much story left for her and the two of them.
I was afraid that the knighting scene, in which he shows his love, and she her trust (that he will not ridicule her) plus her believe in him, could be seen as "the highest possible state" for the two of them.

The Davos-theory about the just king and queen, I had missed. But I love the picture you create:
I think there's a strong possibility both Brienne and Jaime survive and become King and Queen, or at least leaders of some kind.Previously, I never would have dared to aspire that ( ... )

Ha. I wasn't here but kind of was missing this place.

As of S8E4, I can cay: What a rollercoaster this season has been so far. Eps 5 and 6 better deliver.

OUr ship became cannon.
And then ... it sank?

How did you like episode 4?
What do you think Jaime is doing now?

I don't think it necessarily sank. I think Jaime needs to do things that involve putting his demons to rest, as well as protecting Brienne. There are still two more episodes, and while I'm not optimistic about a couple of other characters, I don't think the J/B story is done ( ... )
