HBO has released yet another trailer for Game of Thrones S2... the time is near! You can spot Brienne towards the end in what looks like Renly's tent.

Hooray, exciting! The line "copious usage of the word 'wench'" made me squeal with joy. I'm wondering what that means about the other storylines, though - because Cat very specifically releases Jaime when she thinks Bran and Rickon are dead. So are they going to push up Theon's whole storyline, too? Of course, we have 10 episodes, and a whole lot can happen in each one of them, but I'm just wondering how all of that's going to work...

Also, whoever made that gif is a GENIUS. :D

I think Theon's story will likely be sped up a little, yeah - in one of the previous trailers there's a blink-and-you-miss-it shot of him in bed with Osha, which, IIRC from the books, happens after he has taken Winterfell. Which raises some questions re: Reek, since there seem to be no casting news about him... but that might just be HBO wanting to downplay the importance of character as much as possible because it objectively would be a shame to spoil the element of surprise for that character.

Mmm, very interesting. And that would work, especially if they trim off some of Theon's mucking around with raiding and all that. Also, they're definitely speeding up the way that news gets to people, so it would make show-sense that Cat would get the news v soon after and let him go with enough time for Jaime and Brienne to discover the delights of canoeing. ;-) And I would love if they end with a cut to black, and then a scream. EPIC. (I definitely skipped forward at that point, too, just because I was all "omg GRRM WHAT DID YOU JUST DO" - but show fans won't be able to do that, bwaha!)

I am so excited to hear they're moving up Jaime's story and thus Brienne's. I just can't wait to see these two actors interact. Fingers crossed they've got great chemistry!

Excitementtttt. I'm a bit worried that the timing of things is going to get screwed up if they speed up his storyline, but at the same time, I would like to see Jaime in season 2, so I'm not objecting.

I'm going to squeal so loud when Jaime and Brienne meet for the first time.

Hooray! I really, really hope we get to see Jaime and Brienne's first meeting since we don't really see it in the book. I want to see the look on Jaime's face. ;-)
