Very Touched

Aug 12, 2008 12:01

Well the overwhelming majority has spoken and "Promise" is the story that most want me to finish. So I'll begin working on chapter 31 today and will hopefully have it posted by tonight... or tomorrow. Thank you all for replying back to me. I honestly didn't expect to see that many people respond. I, for the most part, don't think many people read ( Read more... )

I bet there are even more people that read your fiction that didn't respond. I suspect there are more lurkers out there than you realize. I love all your stories so I couldn't be disappointed no matter which one won. I look forward to more of Promise and Bran-muffin.

I would love to see an Ali and Aaron video. Now that my TV tuner is liking me again I was thinking of offering to clip on the Ali and Aaron board.

Yay! You cooked! I'm not the least bit domestic so I'm impressed with anyone that cooks something. I'm pretty good at making pop-tarts but the thought of making anything with meatballs boggles my mind. *laughing*

That's very nice of you to say, AF. ***hugs*** Sometimes I forget that because my journal is public, anyone can read and not reply. I'm sure you feel the same with yours sometimes.

I'm still looking for a really good song, but I'm not happy right now. I hate that Chris saved the day while Aaron got shot. I hate that the writers are trying so hard to shove Chris down our throats. *grr* I have been hoping you might clip A/A. I didn't want to be pushy and ask though. *grin*

Trust me when I say, cooking for me is rare. I do cook a lot of Italian dishes, but that's about it. *laughing* It's a situation where I can cook, I just don't cook. ***hugs***

I didn't realize you had a story "When You Weren't Looking" until I read your post yesterday. Crazy! I know!, however I have had the opportunity to read it now and WOW!!!! what a story! At some point you really really must finish that one.... Do you have any other stories lurking out there I'm not aware of? *hugs* laceytree

"When You Weren't Looking" was the first Cooplee fiction I ever wrote. I started it way before the characters got together. I've been meaning to bring the chapters over to my LJ, but I've been so lazy. *laughing* I don't believe I have any more stories. Everything else has been posted here, so if you've read everything on my LJ, you should be caught up. *laughing* Thank you for the compliment. I'm glad you liked what you read, Tracy. **hugs**

I've always told you, you have many fans and probably some like I used to be that read and love your stories, but yet don't comment. You are a fabulous writer and I hope it is encouraging to you to realize how many people love your work.

I love Ali and Aaron and I think a video of them would be great. I think Chris is a hunk, but he is nowhere near the man Aaron is.

Good job on the cooking. I love hot stuff, even though now some of the medicine I take makes me sick when I eat a lot of spicy, hot foods. My motto has always been "It's only good if it makes you sweat!!!!"

I love your LJ and love all your thoughts even when it's not a story, but just your expressions of your feelings. You have such a way with words. I think I might try a "meatball thingy". You made it sound so good!!!! lol!!!--BettyB

Aww, you are the sweetest woman ever, Betty. It was so surprising to me to see how many people responded. I do forget sometimes about how many people that lurk on LJ. It was a humbling reminder that I'm not talking to air. **hugs**

Aaron and Alison are just so cute and sweet together. They are always there for each other no matter what. I could gush about them for hours. Chris is cute, but this story annoyed me with how much it was based around Chris being the hero. *sigh* Why couldn't Aaron have saved her?

The meatballs aren't hot. I want to stress that. I'm a wimp so it had a kick to me. *laughing* And as it sits in the frig, the meatballs seem to be getting sweeter. So if you still want to try it, I just wanted to prepare you for that. It is really good though. *grin* I hope if you do try it you enjoy it as much as I did. ***hugs***

Jailynn!!! I believe that you have lots of fans/readers. Keep up the writing because it is the only thing keeping most of us going. Your writing is phenomenal. The IIC could learn heaps from you. I have to keep looking at youtube clips to remember the best Cooplee moments and hope that someday we will get more.

Thank you, Paula. That is such a kind thing to say. **hugs** I have been watching old Coop and Ashlee clips too. *sigh* I really miss them so much. The writers suck for doing this to them for no reason. How the IIC are keeping their jobs is a mystery to me. I hope they get their act together soon too and give us more Cooplee. *hugs*

Hi.
It's been a really busy last couple of days, and I'm sorry to say I was one of the non responders.
It would have been really hard to choose a favorite...they're all so good!

I was reading about your foray into cooking. My dad made these meatballs with sauce made from grape jelly and chili sauce about 10 - 15 yeara ago. We were all a little wary because those ingredients don't exactly mesh well together.
Needless to say they were fabulous...and he's been making them for the Christmas Eve buffet dinner ever since. I'm glad your's turned out well too.

Happy writing

Aww, thats okay. I understand getting busy. Thank you for the compliment as well. Jenny couldn't pick either. *laughing* Luckily everyone else made it very clear that "Promise" was their favorite.

I was really surprised by the combo of Jalapeno and grape jellies but it was really good. Your dad's sounds interesting too. I'm glad his turned out great. And I'm really happy mine did, *laughing* because I'm the one stuck eating it. *laughing*

*hugs*
