I guess it had to happen eventually: I've just taken my first step into the Jossverse. I have, in truth, always avoided Buffy and Angel. I dunno. Something about the idea of wisecracking vampires and vampire slayers just doesn't do it for me

I haven't been avoiding the Jossverse so much as not getting sucked into it, yet. Never really watched Buffy/Angel except for a few minutes here and there. Tried the first couple episodes of Firefly when it came out, didn't stick with it at the time, but now I'm trying to find someone to borrow the DVDs from before Serenity comes out, so I'll know what's going on.

Firefly is good. I'm not too fond of the "western" portion of it. I prefer more "space". The episode you saw was one of the most western-y.
