By the way, I've pretty much quit NaNo again. I just don't write like that. Or at all anymore.

Rachel and Brian: ever seen one of these (the first one they talk about)? I was a lot cooler with Japan before I knew those existed.

Dear bugs: what the hell.

Thankfully the worst we have to contend with here is mukadae (which i guess unless I'm elderly or bitten somewhere like the eye and just ignore it) really isn't that bad. We also have the clock spider but haven't seen that either. From what I've heard those things are the most common in Hokkido (No idea why, it's bugfuck cold up there). How can they be in Tokyo? There's nothing but concrete in Tokyo...

Man, I can't believe you just linked that. I, or course, read the whole page. The use of profanity was totally justified.

Yeah, maybe there should have been a GIANT FREAKING ACID-SPITTING HORNET warning on that link. Regardless, I stand by my statement.

I too read the whole page, and could have done without knowing about bot flies, either. However, even with the disgusting pictures, I think I'm more worried about running into a wasp THE SIZE OF MY PALM than I am about a bot fly, regardless of where it lays its eggs.
