Backstory:

So this anxiety thing is bad, right? But I've been managing it much better, and have made some lifestyle changes. More water, more exercise, more relax-time, and also ABSOLUTELY NO CAFFEINE EVER. jaya,
1. you are hilarious. Your posts are excellent.
2. I recently read my first ever DTWOF, and I was just wondering if you own the whole series or did you check it out from the library or borrow from a friend?
3. Mmm, chai.

1. aw, thanks!
2. I only have the last book; I checked the others out from the AADL. I had originally asked for a couple for Xmas/Solstice, but then decided long underwear was more important.
3. indeed.

Yay, tea! I really really like that horrible "fruit and almond" tea now and drink it three times a day with milk and a little sugar, mmmm.

Middle aged=straight ("Next to my husband.") Heehee.

The pupusas weren't awesome but I'm a tortillera!!

Love,
Barah

I'm going to pretend I didn't read that.

2. well, if "old" = tucking my undershirt into my drawers, saying "the kids" and "young people", going to bed early, and being grumpy...then yah. :) But hey bi people exist, too. :p

3. Yes, yes you are. And, in Cuba anyway, a bombera. Which is my favorite.

There are also decaffeinated black teas you can get (just like you can get decaf coffee at the store). I know for coffee if you get it "swiss water processed" then it means they just removed the caffeine by rinsing the coffee with bubbly water (I guess similar to what Martha recommends on a small scale) instead of using potentially frightening chemicals. I don't know what processes are used for tea ( ... )

I was surprised at how well it worked-- the 2nd brew was plenty strong. Simple, effective, tasty.

Oh wow, that Southall grocery must have the mother of all snack sections.

The video has had interesting reception-- for people in my house, it's just Andrew and me being ourselves, but for other ppls it's more entertaining. The two of us think it's a riot, and it's helped him get through his self-voice-sound hating. Thanks for the kudos.

Come visit you there?? I've got some apples for you: finals finish on Thurs 26 April, graduation ceremony 28 April, spring classes start Tuesday 1 May and go until Friday 23 June. Boo. Aren't you coming back end of May? Or are you staying through June now?

I might start IM-ing again... I just haven't downloaded AIM since the last time I reformatted my computer (which was last August).
