Well, this was interesting to explain to his host. Ah well - this was just slightly more important than watching world records be broken at a place that wasn't even his own world

Despite her earlier frantic actions, Rider is now lying down calmly on the loft floor, legs tucked under her massive body while her wings are folded against her side. While her body is indeed white, her mane and tail have a soft purple shade to them, while the hair itself is long enough to touch the floor while she's standing.
He shook his head, recalling the insanity of the past few hours. After returning from the Water Dome, Ban had checked on the community and was startled - putting it lightly - to see Rider's own transformation. Nevermind when he was packing anew and the door opened to reveal that even Apollo had been changed - into an orange tabby cat.
After the whole bizarre explanation - at least it seemed Apollo could understand, though all he could say were cat noises - Ban had been brought back to Shinjuku.
And now heading upstairs.
Raking a hand through his hair, he pushed the door open, blinking incredulously, somehow managing to shut the door behind him. "...Rider...?"
Hearing her name, Rider lifted her large head and looked over, seeing Ban standing at the doorway. She made a soft sound similar to that of a wounded hawk before rising and turning to face him.
As usual, it was better to just chuck all preconceived notions of logic out the window. Dropping the bag at the door, Ban carefully made his way over to Rider, glancing aside when he heard a meek yip.
Shinji in the laundry. Probably the only time the pup would willingly jump in the hamper.
Pausing in front of her, Ban at first moved to offer her a hand - instinct with meeting a horse - but then ran the hand down her neck instead, patting it gently.
"Drink some of the water. It might help you feel better."
He chuckled lightly when Rider nuzzled his hand; once he was comfortably sitting back, Ban rested his arm around her neck again, stroking her in a soothing manner.
"I'm going to stay out here with you tonight, but...if you start feeling worse, let me know."
Not saying anything, Rider did as she was told and stretched her neck out. She sucked at the cool water, feeling it rush down her throat and ease the ache in her body somewhat.
Once that was done, she once again relaxed. The feeling of his arms around her was comforting.
He merely watched as she drank, brushing her hair from the water bowl so that it wouldn't get wet. The water seemed to have been at least a bit of a help, and Ban could feel Rider relaxing.
"I mean it. Neither of us want you getting any sicker."

"Told you I'd get back," he teased.

As Ban brushed his hand against her once more, Rider took the opportunity to nuzzle his hand slightly before he pulled away.
"I-I suppose I amm getting used....to the symptoms."
