Job Offer at KCL Retracted

On tuesday, I was contacted by Charlie Sharp(Head of IT@Iop) offering the postion of Desktop Support Officer at King's College London, Institute of Psychiatry. On thursday, the offer was retracted by Harriet Meteyard (Departmental Manager) due to a discrepancy in the number of sick leave days I had taken in my current employment

i will write a complain letter in, feel pissed & will never ever harbour the thought of wanting to work for them again. will the fact that they refused to hear your explanations means that if you do work for them, and something bad happens, they will never hear you out. that's nasty!

The problem is who to complain to and technically, they have the right to do so. Suay lor.

And true, I will not have any job security if I work there now. It sounds like they either changed their mind about who to hire and was simply getting rid of me, or they're running on a messed up management system.
