One-Shot: The Benefits of Progress

The second short story I post this weekend (first being Nyi Ma)... I can't help it. I needed some distraction from the Riders. Hope you enjoy those, anyway. ;)

How I love your Holmes and Watson! Their characters are always so well-pictured that I can perfectly imagine them in my mind, their reactions - and Watson's concern - you depicted it so well that I was sitting on the edge of my desk for the whole final part of the oneshot!
Yes, the edge of my desk. With all those cliffhangers of yours, my chair gave up and crashed. :P

Thanks! I was surprised how well it turned out, especially Watson's POV... I think it never wrote itself so very easily.

I guess you have to buy a new chair now ;) Luckily for you, this was planned as a one-shot, or your table might not have survived ;)

I do believe it wouldn't have. The desk's already creaking and squeaking under my weight as I think of all the perils our two men will have to experience in the Riders. :P

And yes, I loved your Watson narrating voice.
