You pictured a marvelous scene, here, and a beautiful meditation you inspired to your readers' heart! Watson's grief had to be deep, but Holmes's thoughts on the lonely mountains of Tibet had to be deeper.

Anyway, I hoped to convey some emotion in this one. Did you try reading it while simultaniously listening to the song? I'd be interested what happened...

Aye, I tried it at the first time :D What an evocative arrangement you suggested! I think the song perfectly fits with the piece of writing. Ah, you did convey emotion, here, but some kind of... disciplined emotion, in Holmes style.

Truth be told, the emotion was a little less disciplined in the original draft of this... I reworked a lot in typing it up. But I wrote the original while listening, and I very nearly cried. LOL :D
I'm glad that wasn't entirely lost in the editing process.
