I had an awesome week, although each day was a repeat of the first, more or less, heh. I did a lot of hanging out with friends and watching anime. So, this year we watched

I almost went to A-Kon with some friends of mine from cali, but I was kind of broke after SXSW and my trip to CO a couple weeks ago. Oh well.

According to my anime-fluent friends, A-Kon is awesome, so it would probably be worth it. ^_^ I love it on a anime-noob level, too. There is some very cool people watching to do, plus from what I hear and what my co-workers assure me (there are a lot of people here who speak decent Japanese, who have been to Japan and love the culture) that the J-pop stuff is awesome, too.
