Matt's Navy Frock Coat

First mock-up done today, and looks like there will be only minimal adjustments. Woot! I'm using the Simplicity Captain Jack Sparrow inspired coat and breeches. I know it's not historical, but it will do, and look good, too,I think

Initial observation on the mock-up - it is definitely a modern fit, with broad shoulders and fairly open armscyes. This means it should be pretty comfortable, but also won't force a good posture. We'll see!

I've made that Simplicity coat at least 3 times, and I think it gives really good results. Hooray for your dyeing success! Dharma Trading comes highly recommended, but I haven't tried them yet. :)
