Friday evening had me at my sewing machine throwing together a new skirt for the SASS event on Saturday. I guess I don't always have to use a pattern, because I needed this skirt quick and I didn't have time for fancy cutting and such as I'm such a procrastinator. I think Dave really enjoyed SASS last weekend. We left early cuz he wasn't shooting. Dave's a participant, not a spectator. I'm pretty sure this is something he'll want to do again :o)

No worries! I totally understand about the participant vs spectator thing. The main reason Matt and I stayed until the end was because we actually paid for dinner. ^_~ I do hope it is something yall want to do again!

I think there are some pit bull rescues in the area. If that lady is actively asking people to take her puppy, you might want to give her the information so she can hand it over to them. Because if she's not caring for it, it will have a higher chance of becoming mean. Pitt Bulls are great dogs, but they have to be properly trained and cared for otherwise they can get aggressive. That puppy sounds sweet now, he needs training while he's still sweet and he'll stay that way.

I'll look it up and take it on down to her. I don't know that she'll do anything with it, though. I don't have a lot of faith regarding my neighbors and their taking care of the pets.

I know I'm in a minority when it comes to Pits. I understand that. But because I had one of my own and I worked with her constantly, I learned the beauty of them. But in your story I see a prime example of what happens to PitBulls...the owners don't take care of them like they should. They let them roam and such. Makes me want to pepper spray the owner!

Your dog would be sweet no matter what the breed because you are a loving and responsible pet owner. ^_^ It is the irresponsible and neglectful owners that make me so angry!
