The Last Hero

This story is posted in honor of Olorime's birthday. You asked, and the muse answered. Many happy returns!

In modern day urban streets, deeds of valor take place on a much smaller scale. Another tale from the Not Fade Away series. Thranduil, Galion, OFC (Original Feline Character). Humor rated PG MEFA 2010 Second Place Winner

Ah, very cute! I needed a nice story - especially one with a kitten because I've had a tough time with one of my cats the last couple of days!

Thanks for sharing and happy birthday to Olorime!

Oh, what does Tevildo mean?

Oh, what does Tevildo mean?

In the earliest versions of Tolkien's work, Tevildo was the Morgoth/Sauron/ Bad Guy, and he was a huge black cat. (Tolkien seems to have been some kind of ailurophobe.) You can see how the name Tevildo bears some linguitic similarity to the name Tybalt, or Teboldo, legendary King of the cats.

Thank you. I thought it was time for something sweet after all that angst. LOL

I'm glad you liked this.

I love your Thranduil and who can resist kittens, Galion, Thranduil and Haldir all in one fiction?

LOL -- I did manage to throw the kitchen sink of fluffiness at you here, eh? ;)

And now we know the answer to the burning question: boxers or briefs? LOL

I so wish I'd been there...

Having worked for even more difficult employers in his day, the thought has not even crossed his mind

Hee!

And what a perfect name for a black cat.

Tevildo showed up as an adult for the first time in 'Out of the Blue', and I thought it was a deliciously ironic name for Thranduil's cat to have. He's based on my own black long-haired rescue, Brujo, who must weigh about fifteen pounds at this point and has indeed tripled his weight since we took him in.

Ah yes - I had forgotten Leif and the litter tray!

Our own, ageing, black rescue cat is a touch lighter - but he is pretty much pointless Siamese (to quote my husband!) and so that long slinky build.

LOL -- pointless Siamese. Your husband has a way with words. Our Brujo is built like a yak. ;)

Go, Aron!! He's certainly my hero. *g*

That was not a bad outcome for little Tevildo. Actually the only one I real feel sorry for in this story is Cameron:
>>Cameron has Suzuki violin lessons at 2:00, Baby Swim at 3:00, and her Mommy and Me class at 4:00.<<

That's just downright depressing.

I guess the next will be mail order kids, designed to meet specifications. On second thought, no: we've seen that already. :-(

I wish I could say I was exaggerating about little Cameron's life, but I've known kids like that.

Thank you!
