On a light night in 1952, Jung Yunho snuck out of his camp and into the woods. He knew it was foolish, but he wanted to see the river that the other soldiers had claimed carried beautiful women through its banks, revealed only to those purest of heart.
“No man is that pure,” his commanding officer grunted in dismissal.
Yunho wasn’t convinced.
Ducking beneath the underbrush, he approached the sound of streaming water. Getting the better of himself, he tripped over his feet in his haste to see the river. With his face covered in dirt, he looked up and saw him for the first time.
Droplets of water ran down his naked body as he raised a handful of water to his head and poured it onto his dark hair. Eyes shut, the man never noticed Yunho’s presence until Yunho wheezed out a huff of air like a man suffering from asthma.
“You’re from the North,” the man breathed, hands falling idly to his sides.
Yunho drooled slightly at the man’s glistening pecks. He couldn’t keep himself from staring at the planes of his hips, his pebbled nipples, exposed collarbone… and full lips pouting in the moonlight. He imagined those lips around his cock and shivered.
Pulling together all his courage, he stood and brushed himself off nonchalantly.
“Then I’ll assume you’re from the South,” he replied carefully.
The man nodded slowly. Clenching his fists, he asked, “Are you going to kill me?”
Yunho sucked in a gasp. “Should I?”
The man paused and looked down at his reflection. “Would you listen to me if I said ‘no?’”
Softly, Yunho smiled. “Yes.”
He stared at Yunho before asking, “What’s your name?”
Yunho grinned. “Jung Yunho.”
“Well, Jung Yunho,” he said, sloshing forward. He held out his hand. “I’m Kim Jaejoong. Care to join me?”
