AUTHOR REVEALS
One week after posting ends
Note that this year's exchange has two check-ins. The mods will send an email asking for updates/comments and writer's drafts. (They don't have to be pretty drafts. We just want to make sure you have something! =D) These are to help ensure authors meet their final deadline and - in the event someone is unable to finish - to give pinch hitters enough time to start writing a story. Writers are expected to have written 500 words by the first check-in. If for some reason you're unable to meet those deadlines, please let a mod know!
While this exchange is intended to bring about some holiday cheer, a holiday theme is not necessary. You've got just about three months to write your fic, so hopefully any prior obligations shouldn't get in the way too much. Don't be afraid to go crazy!
When you are done with your fic, make sure it is beta read and then you can send it to us at jaeho.xchange@gmail.com as either a .doc (Microsoft word document), .odt (ODF Open Document), or .rtf (rich text format) attachment. We only ask that you include "EXCHANGE 2014" in your email's subject so we know what it is. ^^
