If Everyone Is Without Healthcare, Does It Count as "Universal"?

DC, in an effort to pass the buck to someone else, was the first city to switch folks to the expanded Medicaid which will be offered under universal healthcare. Only as the bureaucracy of DC is consistantly awful, this is a quagmire of ick. First some background ( Read more... )

I assume that your boyfriend claims you as a deduction on his income tax returns ? If he does not, than you can honestly state you have no income and are destitute. Of course many questions may arise concerning how you feed, clothe and shelter yourself. But hey, you have an imagination, just use it to come up with the necessary answers to questions of such. Just at thought.

Well that is that. I mean if he declares you as a dependent then you are screwed (in more ways than one, haha, J/K) as far as getting Medicare is concerned. Though if it came down to just declaring how you support yourself, you could say you panhandle and that it barely covers enough for food. You could tell them you get your clothes from the Salvation Army or similar organization and that you sleep in a card board box under the S.W. Freeway. Anyway, being a common law Housewife I guess is not too bad, I mean it could be worse ? LOLove
