I wanted other things more than I wanted popularity.

You can love someone and be incredibly angry[hurt,frustrated,scared] with them.

Sometimes nothing you can say or do will make a difference. No matter how much you want it to. and that hurts.

Heroes are better than we are because they love more than we ever can. They can hurt themselves to heal others. They suffer over and over and that makes us feel better and braver.

What they don't do is become self-indulgent and pick on people who aren't the chosen.
