Technically speaking, I am not supposed to be drawing anything until December 18th, but for some reason I just decided to procrastinate big time this weekend and draw. Then again, I only had one easy homework and my last Russian essay....

I think with original work people just don't know to search for it like they do with established characters. My most popular pieces are Sailor Moon art and Ranma/Inuyasha art :(

This is nice! I like the background... why is she holding a playing card? Just curious :3 And is that really what her sailor fuku looked like? I never read that far in the manga, so it's the first time I've seen what it looks like.

Also, on commenting... I comment way way WAY more than I favorite. I probably only favorite something once every two weeks... I'm much more prone to leave a comment than I am click "favorite". Even if I love it I rarely fav, and some of what I've faved is just for reference. I even go in once every six months and clear out some favorited stuff... I think I'd rather have a ranking system put in. GaiaOnline had that, where you could rate a picture from 1 to 10, which I really liked. People were pretty honest... very rarely did you see anyone above a 9.

Yeah, I've heard that various times, that people prefer to fave/comment on things they know about, rather than original "unknown" stuff. Still, I personally make an effort to look over people's original stuff -- though that's only because I love originality more? xD I dunno :P I'm eager to do a random Naruto pic and experiment on whether or not I'll get faves because it's Naruto or because people actually like how I drew it xD (I don't like Naruto, btw.)

Eee, thank you <3 Heh, I don't mind you asking :) She's holding a poker card because one of her attacks involve throwing cards (which to this day still confuses me. Why did she use cards but the Starlights didn't??) And yep, that's her fuku. It's kinda of a copout I think, since there's not much difference between that and her dress...but then again, we didn't get to see her "senshi" side develop that much, so *shrug

WOW, Royal Flush attack, huh? I'm gonna be honest... for as pretty as she was, Princess Kakyuu was a LAME character. She was totally unnecessary... the Starlights should have come to Earth in search of something else, like in search of the Ultimate Sailor Senshi or something lame, I dunno. I loved Stars, but I never really liked her. I thought she was pointless... pretty, but pointless. I LOVED Sailor Iron Mouse, though :D And Tin Nyanko, heh heh.

Well, how many views are you getting? If you get like ten thousand views and only two favorites, then that's a problem, haha. But if you get 50 views and 2 favorites, that's actually pretty good. If you go to the front page and check out all the pics up there, they've been viewed a gazillion times, and even then the number of faves is only like 1/10th the number of views.

Sailor Kakyuu is so underappreciated, I'm glad you're giving her some much deserved love. I'll have to remember to fav it when you put it up on DA. Good luck in the contest!

Yeah, that's one reason why I decided to draw her too. I was like "but I don't want to draw the normal senshi....I wonder who has less art of them? xD"
