That Warchicks Post Which Turned into A Dump and a Lady Gaga Comment...
So yeah, here's some Warchicks stuff :P Not really much, just me fooling around with Illustrator (because I would like a fake CD one day + need it for the comic)
All the script is my handwriting. Well, not exactly. It's me stylizing my handwriting. Yeah. So if you can't read it, don't worry :)
Front cover of the CD draft:
Tracklisting, with one or two songs left out (haven't decided which ones yet). This is just mashed up, it still has to be edited into a list format and with more spaces :P
Andddd the copyright notice that'll be in small print XD (andddd now I realized that I forgot to put the l's in "all". Oops) The produced by line is blank because I don't know who will produce it yet :P
Here's the logo for the band. I like it but it doesn't have that special unique band feeling yet. :P
So here's another take, just editing the font on Illustrator. I think I might stop doing that and just make one from scratch, because I think that modifying a font is illegal >_>;; Shame because I really liked how that W looked...
And in case you wanted to know, here's Delilah. The lineart's extremely old (like 2 years?) and I just colored it about some months ago.
Also, I like to give the "Judas" video my Catholic Seal of Approval™. :P
Basic gist if you don't want to watch the video: Gaga is Mary Magdalene, the 12 Apostles are all Jesus' biker gang and Jesus is supposed to be the guy with the crown of thorns. It's all bikers and stuff that takes metal cues. (I'm guessing) Apparently from Mary Magdalene's point of view, despite the fact that someone said that the song is also (or just is) about one of Gaga's relationships. As someone who was influenced by manga/anime's....alternative takes on history/stories/whatever, I like it XD I don't feel comfortable for some reason saying that I love it, because I do. Maybe it's the Catholic guilt in me. Besides, I've seen worse takes on religion. D:
Also, I find it curious/interesting/comical that the actor portraying Jesus looks Latino...because people from Latin America are some of the most devout Catholics (or religious, if they're not Catholic) in the world. Seriously.
