His hands turned the iron tap, roughly he splashed the cold, cooling water on his face and washed his hands. A sigh crossed his lips.

Why won't it just come off?

---
"Yunho.."

"Hmm?"

Yoochun buttoned up his shirt as he eyed the dressing man in front of him, a cigarette in his mouth. "You shouldn't smoke so much, it's bad for your health."

"Sorry, I can't stop anymore." Yunho said smiling. "Too much of a habbit now."

"By the way Yunho, the deadline for your column is coming up." Yoochun warned him when he got off the bed.

"Ah that..." Yunho scratched the back of his head in guilt. "I'll try to finish it at the end of the week."

"Please do so, or we'll both be in trouble!" Yoochun warned him. "I don't know why, but your column's turned really popular these days."

"Is that such a surprise?" Yunho said fake offended and patted Yoochun on his back. "Are you going now Yoochun?"

Yoochun nodded when they both headed for the door. "Yeah, I still have a pile of manuscripts to work on." He said sighing. "Anyways, are you sure you wanna keep on living here? I mean, it will only get you more depressed."

"Of course I'm not going to leave." Yunho growled. "Finally I have some rest, and it's only 30 minutes away from Seoul so, you come often enough."

"That's the job of an editor Yunho." Yoochun said smirking when he opened the door of his car. "I'm off now, I'll call about the manuscript later."

"Okay, thank you."

Everytime you don't have any inspiration, just go for a long walk okay?

Yunho sighed when he stretched his muscles, he gazed at the sea. "It's already afternoon and I haven't got any inspiration again." He thought. His eyes trailed on the horizon, and then he saw something unusual. There was a boy walking on the beach, his head down. It was rare that Yunho saw someone walking here, not only because it was autumn, the beach wasn't really a hotspot.

He followed the boy with his eyes. Suddenly the boy lost his balance and fell on his hands and knees in the water.

"What the...?" Yunho murmured, he got of the stone bench to have a better look at the boy. He didn't get up, his hand rubbed his cheeks as he tried to wipe of the seawater of his face. He looked helpless, lost. Yunho observed him with every move, he gazed over his shoulder, probably to see if no one was around because just a second later he took off his pants and held it underwater.

"What is he doing?" Yunho wondered. "His butt is showing.." Yunho kept looking at how the boy washed his pants in the sea, then suddenly called out to him. "Hey!~" The boy immediately turned his head in shock. "It won't get clean if you do it like that, you can wash it at my house!"

---
Yunho opened the front door and gestured the boy to come in. "Do you want to take a shower too while I put your clothes in the cleaner? Come in."

"But... But I'll make the house dirty..." The boy said quietly, holding his jacket close to his chest.

"It's alright, don't mind it." Yunho said kindly, the boy was really nervous, so it was better to be nice to him. "Come in, you'll get a cold."

The boy nodded and followed Yunho to the bathroom. He left his clothes on the other side of the door so Yunho could wash them, quickly he ran into the shower cabin and sighed when the hot water poured out of the spray, down on his head and body.

Yunho putted the clothes into the cleaner, nothing really thinking about anything. Slowly he got off to his room to get some dry clothes for the boy. "Are classes over, you're a high school student right?" He asked when he putted the dry, clean clothes on the floor next to the shower cabin.

"No... I really don't go to school."

"Hmmm.. are you skipping?"

"No..."

Yunho turned his head to the cabin, he could see a slight silhouette of the boy's body, he grinned. Well that was some eye candy. Then, suddenly he opened the shower cabin, the boy was shocked when he saw Yunho standing in front of him, both blushed.

"Err... I'm sorry I had to borrow your bathroom..."  He said stuttering. "I-I'll leave immediately!"

"Ahh... Okay."  Yunho replied blank, quickly he left the bathroom. "Damn, he startled me..." He sighed when he was sure the boy couldn't hear him anymore. His eyes wandered off to the bag he left on the table, curiously he took his wallet out. "Kim Jaejoong eh?" He whispered, slowly he put the ID-card back into the wallet and left for the kitchen, pouring a cold drink for the boy.

It didn't take long before Jaejoong walked in, dressed in Yunho's clothes. His face was pale. "Oh, It seems my clothes are a bit too big on you."

Jaejoong wanted to open his mouth, but instead of words a soft groan crossed his lips as he fell on his knees to the ground, his hand grabbing his forehead, his body shaking.

"Hey!" Yunho said shocked, immediately he got down on his knees. "What's wrong, are you alright?!"

"I-I..I'm sorry, I'm just a little bit dizzy that's all." Jaejoong said trembling.

"Are you sure?" Yunho said concerned, he reached his arms out to Jaejoong. "Why don't you take a rest first?"

When Yunho's hand slightly brushed Jaejoong's shoulder he hit Yunho's hand out of shock.

"Ouch, hey, there's no need to swat my hand away." Yunho said when he observed his hand. "That really hurted."

Jaejoong paniced, he covered his mouth with his hands, his cheeks colored red. "I-I'm sorry.. I don't like people touchig me..."

Yunho stared at Jaejoong's hand, it was bruised. "You hurt your hand..?"

"Ah, no... this..." Jaejoong said when he shoke his head. "I wash my hands too often... It's just peeled now."

Yunho threw him a misunderstanding look, he wanted to take that hand and take a closer look, but he couldn't since Jaejoong didn't want to be touched by people. Yunho bit on his lip, what should he do? The boy was just so confused and scared.

"I'm sorry I had to trouble you.." Jaejoong said suddenly. "I'll leave immediately."

"You don't look good." Yunho said when Jaejoong got back on his feet, his pale face made Yunho worried. "Don't you want to go see a doctor first?"

Jaejoong shoke his head. "No, no need to I'm alright." He assured him with a faint smile. "I'll bring your clothes back to you soon." He turned around and tripped over the doorstep, again he landed on the floor.

"Woah, careful!" Yunho said worried.

".... I... I don't feel good..."

"Hey! Don't puke!~"

This kid is really lost.

Time went too fast, before he even knew it himself he was at the hospital talking to the doctor. His eyes open wide. "Malnutrition?"

The female doctor nodded. "Are you his guardian? This is childabuse you know?!"

"No... No I just brought him here." Yunho told her.

"Ah I see, well could you somehow contact his parents?"

Yunho scratched the back of his head. "Well...." Suddenly he remembered the cared in Jaejoong's bag. "Oh yeah, I found his card." He said when he took the ID out of the wallet and showed it to the doctor. "I'll try to contact them." Then his head wandered off to the bed where Jaejoong was sleeping on, he breathed slowly. "By the way, how's he doing now?"

"He's doing better, we got him on a drip now." The doctor explained to Yunho. "After that you can take him home, and get him something to eat."

Sighing Yunho took off to the hallway, he dailed the number from Jaejoong's ID-card, but nobody was picking up the phone. Defeated he put the horn back on the set and walked to a couch in the hall. "Well.. Then I just have to wait till he's finished."

"Mr Jung." Yunho turned his head to a receptionist that was approaching him. "Could you please clear off the bill?" She said when he examined the bill. "He doesn't have a health card. That's why you have to pay all of it."

Yunho took the bill from the receptionist, his yaw dropped. "130.000 won..."

---
"Are you feeling better already?"

"Yes... I'm sorry you had to pay my medical bill." Jaejoong said thankful, his eyes on the food in front of him. "I'll surely pay it all back to you!"

"It's nothing, don't hurry it." Yunho said smiling, stabbing his fork in steak. "C'mon, eat something."

"No, I can't." Jaejoong covered his mouth with his napkin. "I don't have money for it.."

"Do you eat at home?" Yunho asked curiously.

"No, my mother won't cook for me.."

Yunho raised his head. "Why?"

Jaejoong doubted at first... but then he started to speak. "She does give me money for food... But it's not enough." He murmured. "This always happens at the end of the month.. I haven't eaten any hot food for a long time.."

Yunho was speechless, so he was from that sort of family, probably his father left when he was young.. and his mother wouldn't be able to take good care of him. Yunho felt bad for Jaejoong.

"Oh, by the way, uhm.. What should I call you?"

"Aah didn't I tell you?" Yunho asked, when Jaejoong nodded he continued. "I'm Jung Yunho, I'm a writer, I write columns for magazines."

Jaejoong's eyes lit up in excitement. "Woah That's so cool!~"

"It's not really that cool Jaejoong." Yunho laughed, taking a zip from his drink. " It's just a way to earn money."

"No, not at all." Jaejoong said determined, his eyes wouldn't leave Yunho's. "It's amazing, You can do whatever you like with that job!"

Yunho was silent for a moment, he didn't want to break the boy's enthusiasm with the reality, but he had to. "It's really nothing impressive.."

"Huh? Why?"

"I didn't chose to do this." Yunho explained. "Before this I was a novelist.. But now I can't just write a thing!" His eyes gazed into the distance. "That's the reason why I had to become a columnist, I can't give up..." He lifted his head up to Jaejoong again, he stared at him with a worried grimace on his face. "Oh.. Sorry I was carried away." He said when he put the fork inside his mouth. "I usually don't say things like that." He quickly pushed Jaejoong's plate closer to him, to change the subject. "Here, take this, you should eat more!"

"T-Thank you.."

"Is it alright?"

Jaejoong nodded, his cheeks flushed pink. "Yes, it's delicious." He said when he cleaned the corners of his mouth with his napkin. Yunho smiled at him.

"That good to hear."

"Yeah.."

As the night began to fall Yunho and Jaejoong walked out of the restaurant after paying the bill. "Should I call a taxi for you?

"No.. No I'll just walk hom, thanks." Jaejoong answered quickly.

"How far is it from here?"

"Uhm.. About two hours.."

Yunho frowned at Jaejoong. "Hey.. Jaejoong.."

"I always walk home." Jaejoong assured him. "It's nothing.."

But Yunho didn't believe him. "You think I'll really let you walk home after you fainted just a while ago?"  Quickly he took his wallet and took out a note. "Here, this should be enough." He handed out the money but Jaejoong refused it.

"No, No need to." He said nervously. "It's alright, really!"

Yunho frowned at him, putting the money back in his wallet. "How about staying over at my place?"

"W-What?"

"You can stay over tonight. " Yunho explained when he lit a cigarette. "But you have to call your family."

Jaejoong blushed once again. "C-Can I?"

"Yes." Yunho nodded. "It doesn't seem like you want to go home anyway." He snorted. "I should let you go.."

"... Huh?"

Yunho smirked. "Because I'm not the good guy type, anyways come on in."

Jaejoong froze on his place, what did he mean by that.. The good guy type? Slowly he came back to his own self and ran after Yunho who was already more than a mile away. "Hey, wait up!"

---

He already tried it many times, but even after the fifth time of dailing his number they wouldn't pick up.

"Are they picking up?" Yunho asked when he entered the room with drinks.

Jaejoong shoke his head. "No, my mother doesn't pick up the phone..." He sighed as he laid down the horn.

Yunho threw him a misunderstanding look, what kind of mother wouldn't pick up the phone as her son hasn't returned home yet. "Why is that?" He slowly got down on the couch.

"Well... My mom is an alcoholic.." He told quietly, he felt ashamed of it.. "Once she's drunk she isn't aware of anything around her.." He sighed when he took a seat on the couch next to Yunho. "Even when I stay out for 3 days she won't say a thing."

"......She isn't concerned?" Yunho asked full of disbelief.

"Guess so..."

"Is that why you don't want to go home?"

Jaejoong didn't answer but the tears in the corners of his eyes said enough. Yunho took the first aid kit on the table and opened it. "You don't have to talk about it, every family has it's problems." He said when he took rustled through the kit. "Give me your hands."

"... Hmmm.."

"Your hand, I'll put ointment on it." Yunho said friendly.

"I-I can do it myself..."

Yunho nodded. "Oh yeah, I forgot you didn't like people to touch you.." He remembered himself of. "Why is that?"

Jaejoong shrugged as he took the ointment. "I'm not sure myself..."

"When you're done I'll help you put on some band-aid, okay?"

"Oh.... " Jaejoong hummed shyly." Okay.."

"Let me see." Yunho said softly when he got hold of his hands, Jaejoong squirmed in discomfort but didn't really object. "You said that you wash your hands too much right?" He asked when he winded the band-aid around Jaejoong's fingers. "Are you a hypochondriac?"

Jaejoong didn't answer, he just stared at Yunho's working hands.

"Is that also why you don't like people to touch you?" Yunho continued. "It must be difficult to keep it up.."

Jaejoong's eyes slowly started to tear up, the touch of Yunho's warm hands on his was a pleasant feeling, he didn't know it would feel this good.. "It's...." He whispered. "It's because I'm dirty..."

Yunho lifted his gaze from Jaejoong's hands to his face, he frowned. "What?"

Jaejoong turned his head away from Yunho, too ashamed to look him in the eyes. "I keep feeling that I'm smelly and really dirty...." He told. "That's why I need to wash my hands and take baths as often as possible."

"Hey... Jaejoong..."

"Since... If someone touches me they'll know I'm dirty!" Jaejoong started to raise his voice the more he talked.

"Hey hey, What are you talking about?" Yunho said confused.

But Jaejoong just spat it all out, not listening to Yunho. "But still it doesn't work! No matter how much I wash it won't come off!" He was now almost screaming. "That's why I...." He stopped and covered his mouth in shame. What was he doing? He told a total strangee about his feelings and fears...Why? Tears rolled down his cheeks, he could taste the salty taste of it on his lips.

Yunho moved closer and reached out his hands to Jaejoong, but stopped right in front and sighed. "You okay?" He asked kindly, Jaejoong didn't answer, but Yunho wasn't waiting for an answer right now, the important thing was to make Jaejoong feel better. "You aren't smelly nor dirty.. Why would you think so?"

"I-I don't k-know...." Jaejoong sobbed, wiping the tears from his cheeks. "I-I'm sorry .. That I yelled..."

"No, don't apologize." Yunho said comforting. "Well, I think this is they call Obsessive Compulsive Disorder." He stated when he took the first-aid kit. "That's why you can't control yourself sometimes." He took a seat next to Jaejoong, but didn't look at him yet. "It's hard to understand the human psyche, if only it would be healed." Then he stood up and walked to the kitchen. "Do you want something to drink, what about some warm milk?" He said to change the awkward subject for a moment. "Warm milk will do you good."

"Y-Yunho?"

"Hmmm?"

"Why are you so nice to me? I'm just a stranger..."

That's when Yunho started to wonder himself. "Hmmm? Why? Maybe it's because I have nothing to do around here... Not many people show up here." He stated. "I don't know but doing this isn't bad at all." He turned around to hand Jaejoong a glass of milk and smiled. "So don't worry about it."

Jaejoong stared at Yunho, slightly blushing at his words.

"But, I guess it's like people always say.." He smirked. "There's a reason for everything. Get it?"

".... Not really...."

"... I see."

---

Later that night Yunho walked through the house, he couldn't get to sleep and somehow he always felt drawn to the darkness of the night, slowly he opened the sliding door of the room Jaejoong was sleeping in, the teenager was sound asleep, snoring softly as he was tugged into imagination and dreams.

Yunho sighed at the pureness, the beauty of the boy. His eyes rested on the hands, the hands he held just a while ago. But then, something snapped inside him and quickly he closed the door. His back against the wood. "... I should better get some sleep too..."

"It seems like... I've picked up something fascinating."
