Just one glance
It has been 4 years since the first time I had seen Junsu for the first time. And it became the day I'd never forget in my whole life.
It was the first day of my 3rd year at high school,but this time it was even more exciting, because I knew it would be my brother Changmin's first day as a freshman. The whole school had gathered up in the immens auditorium, all sitting on chairs, hanging, talking to friends. Not really paying attention what happened on the front of the room. I was just chatting with my best friend, Yunho, about summer vacation and how we thought of a plan to make the vacations longer.
But without any succes of course.
Then the headmaster started to talk and the whole audience was silent. He did the usual thing, welcoming us back to school. He welcomed the new students, who all sat on the front row, waiting for whatever would happen to them.
Yunho and I yawned, of course we were tired because the previous day we had been playing videogames til midnight... Not a very good start of the year.
"Well, I'll not say any more, let's call out the names and see who's present." Headmaster Lee said at last, before he took a list of names and started calling them. "Choi Ji Young."
"Present!"
I stared at the front row, when I found Changmin I smirked, he should be very nervous by now, that morning he had been running around, paniced because he couldn't find his stuff, but fortunately he made it on time. He was talking to some other boy next to him, I couldn't really see his face... Until Changmin noticed me and waved, the other boy turned around too and stared at me...
What an intens stare.
I didn't know what to do, wave back, or continue staring with my mouth wide open. Changmin threw me a glance and turned around, but the boy next to him.... He kept staring at me with his piercing eyes, luckily Yunho warned me I was drooling.
"What are you looking at?
I quickly recovered myself and smiled at him. "It's nothing, really."
Yunho pulled his eyebrows. "If you say so."
"Kim Junsu."
I turned my head and saw the boy next to Changmin standing up. "Present."
So now I knew his name was Kim Junsu....
Changmin got called not long after, finally the stupid entrance ceremony was over and we could go outside before the real classes would start, Yunho and I walked through the school garden where we always sat in the summer, but then Changmin and the boy called Junsu spotted us.
"Hyung! Isn't it cool, I'm finally a freshman now!"
I smirked. "Don't be happy, it's going to be tough at first."
"Yeah, I think you should take a lot extra clothes with you in the future." Yunho joked.
But Changmin thought we were serious. "W-Why?" He asked pouting.
"Because you visit the toilets a lot when you're a freshman."
"SERIOUSLY? Are they really going to do THAT?!"
We bursted out in laughter. "Awh Minnie we were just joking around, of course there are no people like that on this school!" Yunho comforted him. "Anyway Min, you'll like it here."
I nodded in agreement. "There's this huge soccerfield close to the school, you can go there during breaks."
Changmin's eyes glittered in excitement." Waah so cool!~" Then he turned his head to Junsu, I could feel my heart beating faster all of a sudden. "By the way, this is Kim Junsu, it's also his first time here and we started talking back in the auditorium."
Junsu shuffled his feet on the ground, nervously he greeted us. "H-Hello.."
"He's a bit shy, he didn't went to a elementary school, he had home school at first." Changmin explained. "But I think we'll become good friends!"
Junsu smiled slightly when Changmin patted his shoulder. His smile was so sweet and pure, I didn't know what was going on but it had to be good, because I felt great. That boy made me smile my widest smile I've ever smiled before.
"So, this is Park Yoochun, my older brother, and that's his best friend Jung Yunho!" Changmin said squeaky.
"N-Nice to meet you." Junsu said softly, not really looking up at us, but I didn't mind.
He already melted me heart like that.
"Junsu-ah likes soccer too, it's going to be so fun!" Changmin rambled on. "I can't wait to try out the field, how about you Junsu-ah?"
I felt kinda bad for the boy, Changmin kept dragging him into a conversation, he was so damn shy, on such an adorable way. He nodded nervously. "I..I like soccer."
After a few minutes they left, they still had to pick up their timetables at the desk. Yunho and I laid down on the grass.
Yunho sighed. "It's going to be another long year, don't you think Yoochun-ah?"
"Hmm... I think so." I hummed back at him, my thoughts weren't at school right now, but at Junsu, crazy enough. That boy had some sort of effect on me, an effect nobody ever had.
But what was it exactly?

It didn't take long to find out I was in love with Junsu, but back then I never thought I would get any near him, he was always so distant, not a chance to talk to him... I could only look at him, stare at him as he walked by, or as he was playing soccer with Changmin.
Yunho found out not long after I found out, everytime he caught me staring at Junsu. One day he asked me, "Yoochun, by any chance, do you have feelings for Junsu-ah."
I knew there was no way of lying to Yunho, he was my best friend and we didn't have secrets for eachother, just like this time. "Yes, I do have feelings for Junsu-ah."
Luckily Yunho wasn't shocked. He had never been shocked of everything I did or thought, he was always there for me when I needed him.
"You should tell him about it."
"I don't think it will happen, and if he knows he'll only be more and more distant from me than he is now hyung, I don't want that to happen."
Yunho sighed. "Well, If you want it that way I won't stop you."
I smiled at him, reached out my hand. "Thanks Hyung."
Grinning he took my hand, we shared a high five.
"Maybe one day." I thought. "I'll be able to express my feelings to Junsu, but for now, I just want to look at him."
