As my darling kiddo has discovered PBSKids.org and hubby is almost done with Hawaii Five-0 and I have FINALLY started Being Human, I'm typing this on my phone so it'll be short and sweet and that's why this really long update will take a while to get completed.

But I had to do a quick squee about X-Men: First Class.

Oh it is SO worth it. Hubby and I rarely go to movies anymore, but I'm glad for $10 I spent on this one.

*hugs* I know how it feels. Losing a pet is worth than ANYTHING.

I loved the movie, but I'll have to rewatch it a couple times to know where it stands in my top-list of X-men movies (I'm a die-hard fan of the "original" trilogy).
It is safe to say, though, that the two cameos TOTALLY made the movie for me.
All in all - the setting, acting, casting, effects, story - the movie was exquisite :)

As am I, so I understand. And I SO agree. I would've been meh about it if they hadn't been in there. I never expected Wolverine and it was SUCH a nice surprise, but Rebecca just made me SOOOO happy.

Ikr? I was really surprised that I wasn't even the least bit spoiled about the cameos. If it wasn't for a tweet my friend wrote, I wouldn't even know there were any cameos.
Such a nice touch.
I totally trust Matthew Vaughn to shoot more X-men movies now *prays for a sequel*

I hadn't read ANYTHING about it...which is why I stay spoiler free! A beautiful surprise! :P

I think there will be. They were talking about doing a trilogy set with the First Class.

:D I actually WANT to see Jane Eyre now. My heart was all about the Toby Stephens version.

OH I KNOW. I honestly think without those two moments, I probably would've been kinda meh about the whole movie.
