I only have one thing to say about Castle.

I agree to an extent. I agree that now it's going to make that step of getting into a relationship not as special. That they're now going to go through the whole, that kiss didn't mean anything although it totally did.

But on the other hand, I loved the kiss. The look on Castle's face when he just grabbed her. *melts* And then that little OMG moment he had when she walks off, I did go AW!

Why didn't he just tell her that he loved her when she asked him why he kept coming day after day to the precinct?! I mean, she guessed, but why didn't he just SAY IT?! *flail*

Maybe if I hadn't been spoiled, I would've "awww"ed, but nevertheless, the chemistry between Nathan and Stana is SO good that I still would've reacted this way. I mean, you have sexual tension, but he really effing LOVES her and for THAT to be a first kiss (yes, even I know he probably did it because he thought something was going to happen to her)???? Not a happy fangirl.

I thought it was necessary. They have Beckett in a relationship and they've covered everything Castle is going to say unless she's single again. The dialogue and nuance in this episode--especially the implications when Castle was like "I thought you were shot"--were fantastic but it's been almost three years now without a kiss, it was getting a little pathetic as far as Castle's characterization ( ... )

I gotcha on Castle's characterization. I can totally agree. But he didn't sleep with Beckett Clone and THAT makes me wonder why he chose that moment to kiss her. It was almost like he wanted it to be special and phbt. ...if that makes sense. :D

And the thing is, I LOVE the UST. I'm TOTALLY fine with the UST still being there after a kiss (even if the magic's gone), but I honestly never saw the UST with them! O_O (IKR.) Sure, Castle flirts, but I canNOT seem to picture them doin' it. The way he is with her is love for me. Which makes the kiss more of a letdown.

(And I'm so glad they didn't. I still have a small ray of hope in my heart for them. :P)

I think I'll do the same. I mean, important changes and "extra" stuff are always announced on Twitter anyway.

It was pretty anticlimactic. Had I not been inadvertently spoiled I probably would have enjoyed it more for what it was--a cute undercover moment. But I was expecting SO MUCH and it didn't really deliver. Boo!

Same here. I would've felt the same way without being spoiled...and then I probably STILL would've written this entry. :D
