Right. Still reeling over Torchwood a bit.

I finally watched Inkheart, and--as is strangely usual--despite the popular opinion, I quite liked it. I thought it came off the book (*snirk*) fairly well. Glorious cast obviously. But the gah moment? Hello, it's Jennifer Connelly! *flails* It's fun. Watch it if you need something fantasy and ( Read more... )

As someone who hadn't read the book, I thought Inkheart was pretty okay. I read the book and wasn't really hooked so my interest petered out.

It was better than Eragon ;)

I loved Inkheart; but didn't realize it was based on an actual book.

SPEAKING of books into movies and things....I found my Mum's DVD copy of the Maddigan's Quest mini-series. So in a couple of weeks, I'll get a copy of that to you :)

What is Inkheart?? *pouts*

How can you say nothing to report, you must have much in the way of exciting to tell...

LOL! True. :D

Well, Inkheart (link for Cornelia Funke's site is here) is a book I randomly picked up about five years ago (mainly because it wa spretty :P) and it turned out to become one of my favorite stories ever. It's basically about this girl and her father and when they read aloud from books, something from the book they're reading comes out to live here. The catch is, that for everything that comes out, something from our world has to go in.

:D Sounds awesome, huh? I love it.

THANK YOU. I have this theory that everyone goes to movies now to analyze everything, and sometimes a movie is just made for FUN.
