I admit I enjoy the books (but not the screaming fans who embarrass the heck out the community) but the Twilight movie? I was so disappointed. That's what you get when you sell out. A crappy movie rushed to the theaters. I also can't stand Kristen Stewart :(
I'll watch New Moon just because.. well- it's Twilight, but yeah. It's embarrassing. I try to be positive, but well... I wasn't impressed :( It could have been done so much better. The director tried too hard to be all artsy and it just moved into the comedic.
I liked the books till the fourth. I just had issues with it.
But the movie is almost embarrassing. I mean, I had my hands over my face and was peeking out from between my fingers. It was so soap opera to me. And Kristen Stewart was PITIFUL. I mean, ACTING. *eyeroll*
And the only reason I'll watch New Moon is to see Christopher Heyerdahl :P I have a thing for the tall, creepy man. :D Well, and because I like werewolves. I think I'm just tired of vampires.
The director tried too hard to be all artsy and it just moved into the comedic.
...and who told you 'bout the REAL reason to see the second one??
*smug grin* Yes, I know you love me. It's all good.
So....am I seriously going to NEED to watch the first one for the second one to make any sense? Or can I just fudge it? (ie. You and Rach can fill me in afterwards on anything I didn't get.)
Read the books AFTER I see the movie? That way I can only go up....
Thank you, Queen Mish for telling me to watch blah blah blah... :P
*pounces you*
Just fudge it. No, really. I watched the first one in stages. It's basically exactly the action parts of the books minus most of the why-do-we-exist talks Bella and Edward have. Besides, why do the research when you're only gonna watch the second one for tall candy purposes? *eg*
i've kinda moved past twilight myself, i still like it, but the movie could have been so much better i'm hoping the new director of new moon will do a better job. Plus Jacob is freaking hot :P
