If the world makes me have to read full novels online I'll just commit suicide. There will really be no point if that's where we end up.

I wouldn't mind an ebook reader in some instances. For example, if I was curious about a new book but didn't want to pay hardcover prices, or if it was a book I couldn't get in the US, or if there were a lot of books I wanted to take on a trip without having to carry them. And the adjustable type size would be good for my dad's bad eyes, not to mention I could read easier without my glasses. And I like that ebooks save trees. Why books aren't made of more recyclable materials in this day and age I just don't know.

Still, nothing can really replace the feel of a good book in your hands, having it there on the shelf, flipping through the pages, and being able to tell how much you loved a book by how worn out it is.
