MY VACATION.  LET ME BORE YOU WITH IT.

I don't know what it is about my house that makes me incapable of going to bed before four in the morning, but there it is.  As I do not have cable, I've been watching a lot of PBS and the news.  Did you know the cost of hot tomales is going up?  I didn't need to.  Also, the show Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman, ( Read more... )

PBS is awesome. Their kids programming, even, it is still watchable.

OMG YOU GET WISHBONE RERUNS?! I get Arthur reruns, but omg!

It still cracks me up that It's a Wonderful Life is considered a Christmas movie, just because Christmas makes a cameo for forty-five seconds at the end. XD It has nothing to dooooo with the holidays.

Who are Nancy and Hannah?

Since my favorite thing about the movie was the old bearded scientist who didn't do a whole lot of adventuring, I'd probably have to go with her on the matter. Also, I love the fact that the movie is now obsolete, what with the T. Rex turning out to be a scavenger. Hee.

I totally get watching a movie for funtimes, but I like being interested and not constantly wanting to look away from the violent deaths.

I don't hate it with a burning passion! I hate ROCHESTER with a burning passion and think the book has a promising beginning and good writing which was unfortunately committed to nothing more than an utterly pointless story! I WOULD TOTALLY WRITE THE SCRIPT. Do you have any ( ... )

Nancy is a friend of the family and Hannah is her niece that lives with her and is a couple years younger than me.

I'm not saying anything against being interested, I enjoy interest! I'm just saying that Jurassic Park is more about ADVENTURE! than interest, and if that isn't fun for you then you just aren't going to enjoy the movie as much.

I don't really have a scenario in mind. You could do it from the HS characters pov or have it in Jane Eyre or whatever. I just ask that you keep length in mind. The fewer panels, the more likely I am to actually be able to finish the comic. I draw the line at six.

LOL, love your JP discussion. I loved the book, but you're right--you've gotta love the movie for different reasons. Those dinosaurs still hold up pretty well 15 (or however many years it's been) later.

totally! And the music is fun, I'm still looking for a free ringtone of the JP theme, it would make my incoming calls EPIC!
