Today was our first mandatory Sunday meeting at work since we got our new general manager. Ironically, Sunday is the only day of the week that the restaurant is closed all day, thus making Sunday our only full day off. i know you didn't ask for advice but i'm just going to throw it out there. do you really want to start a new job right before you leave on vacation? i try to time my leaving a job around when i leave for vacation so i can vacation stress free.

just a thought ;)

ps....restaurants never pay cooks what they're worth. it's lame.

I completely agree with you. I think what I'm going to do is try to work it where I can leave my current job right before the trip and start at another job right when I get back. Just like you said. I'm just in dire need of moooooooooooooo moneyyyyyyyyyyy.

Sometimes you have to make that call. I've had a few jobs I really loved but the pay just wasn't enough to support me. I got sick of being stressed out all the time. It's not fun, and it sucks you're having to deal with that.

I miss you too! Gah. Hey, we need to make plans because Dan and I are going to be spending next saturday night in Dallas while I'm on my way home from Childress. We are staying in Arlington, but there will be some drinking that will take place in Dallas. You and Koz should come out.

I stayed at gap for a year and a half with constant promises of more that never came into fruition. Empty promises and loyalty don't pay the bills...but yeah, wait until after the vacation.
