So...I saw it. And it was okay. Not as good as I thought it would be, but not bad enough for me to consider it a complete waste of money. Still, it was disappointing.
I hated the whole Wolverine/Jean thing. Scott was totally ignored and misused and just...gah. She doesn't deserve him. Yeah, she cried when she realized she killed him, but...grr...
Yeah, this movie was disappointing. I liked X2 better.
I don't like Logan/Jean, but I think they handled it better in the cartoon and the comics. They do not handle it well in the movies, just shoving Scott aside and ignoring him. If people are going to do a triangle, they should have all the sides equally represented.
1) Jean/Phoenix killed Scott, right at the beginning, and no one really cared until Phoenix tried to have sex with Logan and he finally used the head that has a brain.
This seemed totally bizzare to me as well. Scott obviously went to Alkali Lake (where the hell else would he have gone) and in all the excitement of finding Jean, no one wonders why Scott isn't there, too? Man, I know he's probably been a pill lately, but his years of dedicated service and nice-guy-dom had to have done something for him.
Yeah. The worst part is, Logan did find Scott's visor, and brought back Scott's bike. I guess he and Storm just didn't care about Scott after finding Jean. Pfft. Whatever.
