S'ok. I love trying to figure out Lost, but I think this psycho OVER analyzing that the crazy boards are doing is a little, well, nutso. They're saying stuff like these are representing constellations, and they say "Cause to die", which I see no way how someone could interpret it that way if you studied Egyptian in any way shape or form. Crazy.
It still cracks me that that people were ranting online about the washer & dryer being too new, so the writers threw a line in about it. Or they make comments in the podcast saying "you people know more about this show than us, that was called 'a mistake'". Cracks my shit up. :)
I just love puzzles, which is why I'm hooked, I think.
wow. awesome observations.pantsieFebruary 17 2006, 15:04:17 UTC
Things that we noticed last night (and these are probably "master of the obvious" things to catch):
* there was a picture of a hot air balloon on the wall in the hatch area * the soldier who asked Sayid whether or not he had a wife and kids in the flashback was holding a picture of Kate -- it was Kate's dad
I, too, was trying to puzzle out the glyphs, but I know next to nothing about Egyptian writing. The observations that you made about the black and the red are fascinating.
I love the way that Hurley was able to turn the tables on Sawyer -- there seems to be a real struggle between being honorable humans and getting all "Lord of the Flies" on the island. The level of suspicion that they have toward each other is keeping them from acting as a team.
I am so confused.ddresloughFebruary 17 2006, 16:01:21 UTC
LOLOL! I thought this whole post was about Lost! Like they'd found some new clock and it had egyptian writing on it or something. :)
BTW - The Egyptians *would* have worshipped Apollo if they'd seen the new Battlestar Galacta. But they were only around for BSG1 so they got suckered in for Faceman.
Fire drill? Everyone out of the Pyramid and meet in the playground! Leave your backpacks behind...
