Did I mention my week in Philly is my REAL summer vacation? I got a few days off here and there during the summer, but never took a full week off, so this is it. A little late, but oh well

Waugh! I didn't know it was your wedding anniversary! You should have told me! I wouldn't have been extravagant but I would have gladly marked the occasion. Belated congratulations! (...and thanks for the really special lunch, though not as special as your dinner. :) )

I was a much fussier eater before I met j. I've tried a lot of new things. And holy crap, you don't know what you're missing. I mean: MORIMOTO. IRON CHEF. SEAFOOD. He knows what the hell he's doing.

He already said "What do you mean *I* have to follow it up next year?" so he thinks it'll be tough for me to top it. Considering he came up with the idea only a week ago and now I have a year to plan, I think I can come up with something. :)

And can you believe they no longer have huge waiting list AND we got in with reservations a week before?
