So apparently today at work, we were supposed to be having an upgrade to our database and the system would be down for an hour. We can't get to any of the information we need to troubleshoot and we still have to take calls. And there has also been an unintended side effect in that it seems to have affected someall of the guest networks we support

Exactly! I mean, you'd think they might want to schedule something like this for late at night when we don't get many calls, but no, that would make too much sense.
