Smokey came home last Thursday. Poor baby boy had ulcers. We were not impressed with the Emergency vet we took him to at first. They pretty much told us that he might not make it thru the night, if he didn't go for immediate surgery, which would have cost over $4,000. We ended up making plans for them to look after him over night and we were taking

How's Smokey doing? Sometimes I really don't agree with ER vet places, seems like they charge so much! :(

He's better than ever! The first night he was home, his siblings avoided him and hissed. The following morning, Skrilla (his lil buddy) was wrestling with him again.

I'm not pleased with the Emergency vet at all! When the tech found out that we only were approved for $500 (Care Credit), it was the first thing she told the new vet when they asked what was wrong with Smokey. I would happily go into debt if it means my cats will live.
