First impression of Cornell: Pretty...HUGE. We got lost on campus by car for about an hour or so, haha. I can't believe you have to dissect animals. :/ I understand that's kind of necessary if you want to help them later on, but I could never do that myself. I just discovered that I need to take another science to graduate in the next two years, and the only one I might somehow pass is Biology, but we have to dissect, er, something (frogs? pigs?) in that course, and I would never, ever be able to do that.

But they purposely chose chickens for us that were already in some way 'defective' or whatever. Like... mine had a tumor in its uterus, poor dear. So I suppose it was a humane-ish ending.
Most bio classes do stuff like that. I know that I've done a perch(fish), dogfish, &several frogs. Most of the kids that go to the other school do fetal pigs and cow hearts. And though I personally think that its wrong... if they weren't being used for a learning experience to help us help them later on, they'd be being eaten, or worse. People that take sharkfins and then leave the shark in the ocean, unable to swim properly... gahh.
