You know nothing about World War II??? Really?? What do they teach you up there?! Egads, woman, there are only about ninety bajillion books on WWII. You should DEFINITELY check it out. Not just the European side, but the Japanese side, too. There are millions of stories, some good, some bad, all dramatic...it changed the world powers (it's why the US became as strong as it did...everybody else's countries were blown to hell and had no money left after rebuilding). Seriously, you can study WWII for ten years, and STILL not know everything about the war, it's that big.

I recommend talking to your history teacher, if just to get some basics. And as for the research, my story has taken a finer point, now that I've found some info...now I just need some of the terminology, and I should be well on my way.

Oh, and my Barnes and Noble suggestion...they have rows of shelves dedicated just to WWII, pictures and everything, go check it out.
