Star Trek AU O'Doom - continuation

I really need to come with some sort of title for this thing. *shakes head* Anyway, this is a continuation of the bit that I posted a week or so ago (including the additions I made on the advice of tafkarfanfic, which should make the Tarsus thing much more understandable.) Let me know what you think, and if anyone happens to come up with a potential title that

Aw, thanks. *blushes* Yeah, my Winona is just a single mother who's been trying to do the best for her kids and has just made some decisions that turned out to be the wrong ones (which she then immediately goes and tries to fix.)

I know she's gonna wind up being BFFs with Amanda once she and Spock Prime move to Vulcan (probably about the time Jim joins Starfleet), but I haven't decided if their relationship will stay platonic or if it'll be romantic. I'm leaning towards platonic right now, but I'll probably change my mind a few times before I actually start writing that part. *g*

Thanks. I'm glad people are enjoying this. It's probably the most ambitious thing I've attempted to write, so I'm a little nervous about it.
