ah-ha, yes they are. I also went a little out of my way to pick lots of kissing scenes, because for a couple of the fanfics those were the only things I had written, and I was amused with my cheapness.
ooh it is very far from being in print. It's from last year's NaNo, which I failed but which has a lot of interesting stuff that needs fleshing out, and which needs a secondary plot. It's partially an experiment in character and perspective (the narrator is a goblin), so I have to work out the kinks in that too. But I am glad to know you liked it. :-)
