Massive To Do List

I usually post To-Do lists for month long periods. Since a week is too short a space to try and have any real plans laid out, and anything longer than a month with my life could end in distaster if I'm not very careful. But this time, I don't have much choice. So my To-Do list is going to stretch all the way out into July.

My freakin' outline is almost 11,000 words. I just started writing last night and I have almost 800 words. My boss is out of town today, so I hope to get a bunch more written. How goes your insanity?

Yes! I was just going through the writers list today and saw your name on it. I'd love to group with you.

Me, my out line is currently housed in an over stuffed 80 paged spiral note book with more loose leaf paper poking out the sides than I know what to do with. So far I have a little over 2000 words started on it, and a few major plot twists sketched out, but that's about all.

2,000 words is awesome. I originally wrote my outline in my notebook, and then decided I should type it up in case things needed to be switched around (which they already have - twice!). My hubby read the outline and poked a few holes in my plot, which he (thankfully) helped me fix.

I'm putting all my other projects on hold (to the disappointment of some people). I'm currently in the middle of writing 3 big stories - Vampire!John, PoolBoy!John and a really crazy long one I'm writing with girl_curl_3. And that pile of plot bunnies multiplying in the corner over there. Don't. Exist. *ignores bunnies*

I'm in the process of typing up the outline for this story because I know I'll end up switching things around on myself for this one. It's too long not to end up getting tweeked at some point. I haven't had anyone look over the outline yet though. And i'm resisting the temptation of adding/writing scenes for this story that will never actually make it into the final product - and it's so hard.

Yeah, I'm going to have to put everything else on hold soon. But my current out put of writing can keep up with the demand and I really do need to finish Once and Only or it'll never get done. The plot bunnies however are harder to beat back so I'm not trying. I'm just not giving them near as much attention as they want. I've got outlines and details for a bunch of them on a private website where they can breed and multiply to their hearts content as long as they don't get in the way.

You mentioned that part 5 of Once and Only was off to be beta'd in March, so I'm hoping you have it back and just forgot to post it, right? (please be right). I love this story, need more...more...more...

No I haven't gotten it back yet. My beta lost her laptop to her computer techs for repairs. I just sent her off an e-mail actually to see if she still had a copy and to find out how the repairs are going for her laptop.

Hopefully I'll be getting it back soon!
