Some Kind of Magic art
My last for sodamnskippy's Bonus-A-Thon...and it's, maybe, a little late?
This last one is for skoosiepants' Some Kind of Magic.
Now originally I was going to just draw something and scan it and I actually did draw something but it was on lined paper and every time I tried to re-draw it on a clean paper it didn't turn out as well as I wanted so...
I'm not sure if I got all the colouring for the animals right, I re-read the story and I found it surprisingly hard to find the part that says what kind of bird Mortimer is (apparently he's a fat mourning dove). I actually liked how the black outline for him turned out :D I think he's sufficiently chubby.
Sticky was the last to be drawn and I found that I can't draw whiskers...who knew?
I'm not sure how well Alyosha's wings came out in comparison with the description in the story but I didn't want to put too much black on his wings so he's mostly white/blue. Strangely I'm fond of how his body turned out despite the lack of legs :)
