unffff this is so good. your cato is so spot-on honestly and his dynamic with johanna and finnick makes me flail my hands around. oddly what really got me though was haymitch, drunk and bringing the boy who killed his girl to meet his fucked-up family. i love the family here, the way they kind of attempt to help cato out but they're just so fucked up they have no concept of how to, really, and all the nested layers of relationships that cato doesn't really understand but goes after anyway. katniss' last line is flawless and dude, i almost felt bad for him at the end :'(
